Once in a while the weather is gloriously perfect for a photo shoot. And just once in a while I just so happen to have my camera as well as an amazingly beautiful family who just so happen to be in need of some photos. What a perfect combination.

Sweet Angel
Is it okay to admit that I have never had so much fun taking photos? This little baby girl radiated heaven, and I basked in her rays. Thank goodness for little girls!

+ Two Cute Girls
These two adorable little girls are most definitely made of "sugar and spice and everything nice". I especially loved it when they gave each other hugs. How sweet to have a best little friend as your sister!
Even though the location for the shoot was changed last second this family dealt wonderfully with our improvised plans. The sun was shining and everything turned out perfectly in the end!

+ Two Cute Boys
This adorable family chose the perfect location for their shoot: a Washington state park that is the true epitome of the Pacific Northwest. The raging river, the dense forest complete with plenty of moss and the towering trees made me feel right at home.
On top of it all their little boys were incredibly perfect at letting me snap some shots. Talk about a photogenic family!

A Little March Snow
A Snow Storm for March? How bizarre! This powdery soft snow was the perfect opportunity to take some pictures of a beautiful little girl. This was her first snowfall and she was simply enchanted with experience. Just look at her coat and big blue eyes, isn't she adorable?

Kevin and Christie's Beautiful Wedding
Last weekend I was a second shooter for photographer Kali at a wedding. What an awesome learning experience! I learned so much from the wonderful help that she gave me. The day was absolutely beautifully sunny despite regular January Seattle weather and the bride and groom were most blissfully happy. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Kevin watched his beautiful bride pose for some bridals. I couldn't resist taking some pictures of him...the result is the picture where he is all by himself.

Green Everywhere!
For some crazy reason I find moss fascinating. Maybe it is because I did not grow up in Washington, where moss flourishes and thrives. For me there is something simply ethereal about the way it drips from the bare branches of trees, carpets the ground and flourishes in the most unlikely of spots. For the last few weeks I have been meaning to post some of the pictures that I have taken of this greatly interesting...plant.
